About the release

Although he has been active as a band leader for more than a quarter of a century, this is the first album by guitarist and composer Ratko Zjača released for a Croatian label. After studying in Rotterdam, he continued to live in the Netherlands and perform all over the world, as his ambitions are to play with top musicians, those who create the history of jazz, to learn from them and discover the secrets of this music….

(Davor Hrvoj, from the text of the bilingual edition of the accompanying booklet; Croatian/English)
