Renata Penezić & Zrinka I. Cikojević: Good Old Times
Digital edition
About the release
The long-standing collaboration between Renata Penezić and Zrinka Ivančić Cikojević at the Academy of Music in Zagreb led to the formation of a duo that brings together two instruments whose partnership has produced some of the most beautiful scores in the history of music. These distinguished musicians began playing together in 2007, which means that they will soon celebrate two decades of their musical journey together. Over the years, they have appeared in numerous concerts in Croatia and abroad, while their dedicated collaboration has been crowned with two discographic releases: The Travelling Flute, featuring works by Alfi Kabiljo for flute and piano (Cantus, 2019), and the present album – Good Old Times – which explores the rich and varied repertoire for these two instruments penned by Croatian composers.
