About the release
The composition ReMiniScences, for piano, brings a word play in its title, offering different meanings that are connected and integrated into a whole. According to the composer, in addition to the association with recurring small scenes, the composition also presents transformations of certain fragments from the past. The work was created at the instigation of pianist Mija Elezović, to whom it is dedicated, and was first recorded on her discography release Mi with works by Croatian female composers (Cantus, 2021).
The composition was premiered by Mia Elezović at the Piano Miniatures concert, as part of the Theatre Night program, at the Osijek Cultural Center, in 2020.
