Take Balota's poetry, that unprecedented compenetration of the poet's fondness of nature and of women, from verses of love towards the Istrian sea, its coast and the Istrian maiden to the celebration of the misfortune of womanhood, mother and wife, and the poet's confronting with the social precipice of the interwar period from which the Croat Istrian finds no way out, and set it as background to the similarly ingenious musical solution of this graduate composer and singer, Bruno Krajcar, celebrator of Istrian heritage himself, is it by way of rap or 'klape' music, jazz or blues. Indeed, Pula's citizen Bruno Krajcar seems to have „balotised“ his entire opus, from chamber to choir music, from ethnic music to music for children.
